Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Bamboo Card, a Dubai-based B2B distributor of digital prepaid products and rewards fulfilment partner, is looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to own its cloud infrastructure, source control and delivery pipelines end to end. The platform runs on AWS with .NET services, React portals, SQL Server and partner APIs, with repositories in GitHub and deployments via GitHub Actions. This is an ownership role, not a ticket queue.

Key responsibilities

• AWS infrastructure as code (CloudFormation / CDK / Terraform) with no manual production changes, including multi-account environments, IAM and reusable IaC modules
• Own the GitHub organisation: repositories, teams, permissions, rulesets, branch protection, secrets and security scanning
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for .NET, React and infrastructure, using OIDC to AWS and safe deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting with CloudWatch, take part in on-call and incident response, and own backup, disaster recovery and restore testing
• Work with the Security Lead on hardening, track AWS spend, document infrastructure and runbooks, and automate repetitive work

Required profile

• 6+ years in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering, with at least 4 years running production workloads on AWS
• Deep hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience across multi-account AWS setups
• Proven experience building complex GitHub Actions pipelines, including reusable workflows and OIDC to AWS
• Solid networking and security fundamentals (VPCs, DNS, TLS, IAM, secrets management)
• Experience supporting .NET and SQL Server workloads on AWS is a strong advantage
• AWS certifications and fintech or payments experience are a plus

Required skills

• Infrastructure as code: CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform
• GitHub administration and GitHub Actions
• Scripting in Bash, Python or PowerShell; Docker and ECS (Kubernetes/EKS a plus)
