Senior Electrical Engineer – Quantum Research Center

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Quantum Research Center at the Technology Innovation Institute. You will work in a young, dynamic team developing next‑generation quantum sensing devices that will impact both international and emerging local high‑tech ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prototype electrical subsystems and components for advanced sensing systems in full‑cycle R&D projects.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to translate scientific requirements into detailed electronic specifications.
• Supervise outsourced development activities and ensure quality delivery.
• Participate in laboratory and field testing of prototypes.
• Prepare high‑quality technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Independent, creative problem‑solver with system‑level thinking.
• 4+ years of experience in sensing‑related R&D or similar fields.
• Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong experience in prototyping, integration, and validation processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with schematic and layout PCB design software.
• Expertise in analog signal acquisition, processing and control.
• Experience in digital signal acquisition, processing and control.
• Precision low‑noise circuit design.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI guidelines and mitigation techniques.
• High‑speed digital signal design; RF design; FPGA programming (plus).
