About the role
Penspen is seeking a Senior Engineer – Construction, Civil & Structural to join a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing structural works, approving submittals, managing RFIs, and ensuring compliance throughout the construction phase.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee structural works on site and ensure they meet design specifications.
- Review and approve technical submittals and shop drawings.
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and coordinate responses.
- Inspect completed work and verify compliance with project standards.
- Monitor contractor claims and support resolution.
Required profile
- Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 10 years on large‑scale oil and gas processing projects.
- Proven experience in structural engineering and construction supervision in the UAE.
- Prior experience with ADNOC projects is an advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE and STAAD.Pro.
