Senior Engineer – Cyber Engineering (1‑year contract)

About the role

CPX Affiliate is seeking a Senior Engineer specialized in Cyber Engineering to join its Abu Dhabi team on a one‑year assignment. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and transitioning complex network and security solutions into production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detailed design and implementation of network and security architectures.
• Configure and deploy technologies such as next‑gen firewalls, load balancers, NAC, secure email gateways, and cloud networking components.
• Manage end‑to‑end implementation tasks, ensuring adherence to best‑practice standards and project timelines.
• Collaborate with vendors, lead engineers, and cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues.
• Produce technical documentation and hand over solutions to operational support teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCIE R&S, CCIE Security, CCNP, PCNSE, or equivalent).
• Minimum six years of hands‑on experience in IT services or systems integration.
• Proven track record delivering medium to large‑scale network and security projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
