Senior Engineer – Drilling Services

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Drilling Services will lead the management of drilling service commitments for ADNOC Onshore, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, ADNOC policies and legal requirements. The role operates independently on assigned projects and defines the contract model to maximise value from exploration and appraisal wells.

Key responsibilities

• Identify tender needs, build business cases and develop tender strategies.
• Assess and pre‑qualify bidders, prepare and present technical submissions to Tender Committees.
• Draft technical scopes, pricing structures and contract specifications.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations, support negotiations and manage contract variations.
• Monitor mobilisation, HSE compliance, performance management and contractor allocation.
• Coordinate internally to capture lessons learned and improve future contracts.
• Ensure contract validity, close‑out, and resolve disputes in collaboration with Procurement and Legal.
• Manage contract resources to maintain business continuity.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in drilling services contract management and tendering.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC on‑shore policies, industry standards and legal requirements.
• Proven ability to work independently, lead cross‑functional teams and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent understanding of HSE, QA/QC and procurement processes.
