Senior Engineer, Electrical Maintenance

About the role

The Senior Engineer, Electrical Maintenance will provide expert engineering support for all electrical maintenance activities across the plant and power network, ensuring equipment availability, reliability and integrity in line with world‑class practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical maintenance codes of practice, procedures and guidelines in compliance with corporate and ADNOC standards.
• Review existing maintenance practices and implement innovative techniques to improve productivity, availability and reliability.
• Plan and supervise major overhauls and extraordinary maintenance programmes efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Coordinate long‑ and short‑term maintenance plans, major overhauls and shutdowns for assigned equipment.
• Support, advise and resolve critical breakdowns of electrical equipment within the assigned area.
• Propose and review plant change requests through site engineering studies to ensure feasibility and safety.
• Provide expertise for technological upgrades of obsolete equipment and prepare technical and economic documentation.
• Investigate chronic maintenance problems, conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all electrical critical safety systems are maintained and operative by developing testing procedures and follow‑up programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years experience in engineering and maintenance, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
