Senior Engineer Infra National Carrier Services

About the role

The Senior Engineer Infra National Carrier Services will lead the 24/7 carrier support domain, acting as the bridge between external carrier partners, internal business units and technology operations. This role ensures seamless technical coordination, escalation handling, change management and SLA compliance for a high‑volume carrier environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage communication and coordination with international carrier partners, business units and technology teams.
• Oversee solution and functional design specifications for Ignite and BAU work streams, ensuring timelines and quality standards.
• Resolve intra‑ and inter‑release dependencies across internal and vendor teams.
• Maintain daily IT service operations using ITIL principles, automation and orchestration to achieve high availability and SLA targets.
• Develop and enforce platform‑specific security standards and drive process optimisation initiatives.
• Lead business contingency planning, testing, disaster‑recovery reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
• Implement quality control measures for service assurance and delivery improvement, meeting financial and cost objectives.
• Liaise with internal departments, vendors and suppliers to define user requirements and set service standards.

Required profile

• BSc in Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• 10‑15 years of experience in the telecommunications or high‑tech industry.
• At least 10 years in managerial roles overseeing large‑scale operational organisations.
• Proven experience managing international carrier relationships, wholesale agreements, CAPEX/OPEX and SLA metrics.
• Strong background in handling international customer and consortium operations.
