Senior Engineer - Projects ICSS Package

About the role

Petrofac is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its Projects team in Sharjah, UAE, focusing on the ICSS package. The role involves coordinating engineering resources to ensure construction meets contractual requirements efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering resources and review contract documentation for constructability.
• Create and manage project schedules, including Technical Document Register (TDR) level‑4 schedules.
• Monitor drawing issuance, identify discrepancies, and liaise with Lead Engineer.
• Prepare purchase requests for materials and consumables.
• Develop project‑specific procedures to meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate activities across departments to minimise delays.
• Participate in subcontractor selection, bid evaluation and contract terms.
• Track project progress against plan and client requirements, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure resource availability for smooth project execution.
• Engage with clients for approvals, attend meetings and address deliverable issues.

Required profile

• Senior Engineer with experience in construction project coordination.
• Proven ability to review contracts, schedules and technical documents.
• Strong communication with clients, vendors and internal teams.
