Senior Engineer – RF, Power Electronics & AI Systems

About the role

Lead cross‑functional engineering teams in the development, integration and qualification of RF systems, power electronics, embedded hardware, software and AI solutions for advanced industrial and defence technologies. Ensure technical excellence, project alignment and high‑impact delivery across the full product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for hardware and firmware design teams, ensuring compliance with international standards and qualification requirements.
• Organise and chair multidisciplinary design reviews, enforcing MIL‑STD, IEEE/IEC, DO‑178C and best engineering practices.
• Define system architecture and integrate RF, digital hardware, AI and embedded control into unified product platforms.
• Lead simulation, testing and qualification of power electronics, RF systems and high‑speed digital hardware.
• Oversee the firmware/software lifecycle from requirements through verification, ensuring maintainability and certification compliance.
• Design and integrate AI/ML, computer‑vision and NLP solutions for real‑time analytics and intelligent decision‑making.
• Drive advanced R&D initiatives and promote model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) and emerging technologies.
• Ensure traceable, complete technical documentation across hardware and software domains and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• 8+ years of technical project management or embedded electronics development experience in defence/aerospace, preferably missile systems.
• Proven leadership of cross‑functional engineering teams delivering electronics sub‑assemblies or complex systems.
• Strong understanding of missile/weapon system development and production processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (Master’s preferred); PMP certification desirable.
• Ability to operate in fast‑paced, regulated environments with knowledge of configuration management and technical reviews.
