Senior Estimator

About the role

Supports and performs the administration and preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities and pricing to support technical and commercial requirements associated with the design, engineering, licensing, procurement, construction and commissioning of nuclear power projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for verification of contractor pricing submissions and review contractor estimates.
• Support verification of interim payments and conduct sensitivity analysis for program resourcing.
• Prepare cost estimates for change assessments, including cost and resource impacts, and conduct benchmarking for negotiations.
• Assist in resource loading of schedules for interim payment progress assessments.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security and business continuity policies.
• Promote excellence and quality management by implementing best practices and exceeding stakeholder expectations.

Required profile

• Chartered member of a recognized professional institution (e.g., RICS, CIOB, ICE, CIA).
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction industry experience, preferably in civil, building or power projects.
• Experience on international power or nuclear programmes.
