Senior Executive - Maintenance

About the role

The Senior Executive – Maintenance will lead the maintenance and reliability strategy for critical plant equipment including reactors, mixers, pumps, compressors, chillers, utilities and filling lines. The role focuses on reducing downtime, repair costs and overall site maintenance expenses while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programmes for all major equipment.
• Lead and coach maintenance technicians and contractors, ensuring competency and safety compliance.
• Manage maintenance budgets, optimise expenditure and negotiate with suppliers for services and spare parts.
• Implement and maintain a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, equipment history and spare inventories.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and reliability improvement projects.
• Monitor energy and water consumption, proposing measures to reduce usage.
• Ensure calibration of critical weighing and filling systems through a defined calendar.
• Collaborate with EHS and IMS teams to address safety observations and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in paints, coatings, chemicals or process manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing utilities, plant infrastructure and maintenance budgets.
• Familiarity with TPM, reliability engineering, RCA, FMEA and preventive maintenance systems.

• SAP PM or equivalent CMMS.
• Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) implementation.
• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
