Senior Executive – Tenant Relations

About the role

The Senior Executive – Tenant Relations will be responsible for managing relationships with retail tenants at Palm Jumirah Mall. This role ensures tenant satisfaction, compliance, and smooth operation of all retail spaces within the mall.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strong, professional relationships with all retail tenants and coordinate major requirements.
• Lead meetings and discussions with tenants to address issues, escalating as required.
• Address tenant complaints, operational challenges, and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor tenant compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, DHAM lease policies, housekeeping, safety, and security standards.
• Conduct routine checks to verify that tenant stores are trading, well‑presented, maintained, and safe.
• Escalate maintenance and safety issues raised by tenants to the appropriate departments.
• Inspect units according to approved schedules, including specialty leasing units.
• Prepare reports for rent discount requests, early terminations, and other special cases.
• Collect and maintain tenant data such as sales, footfall, compliance documents, and permits.
• Coordinate with technical, finance, and marketing teams to support tenant requirements and promotional events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in tenant relations, property management, or a similar retail environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to lead tenant meetings and resolve issues.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation, data collection, and compliance tracking.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including technical, finance, and marketing departments.
• Attention to detail for conducting inspections and preparing accurate reports.
