About the role
EY is seeking a Senior External Auditor to join its Dubai audit team. You will support clients by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing insightful accounting and reporting advice.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in audit engagements, collaborating with team members and updating senior staff on progress.
- Prepare for and attend meetings with client management, assisting in the preparation of reports and schedules.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with client personnel.
- Identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY.
- Contribute to recruitment and retention initiatives for assurance professionals.
- Ensure high‑quality work delivery and appropriate review processes.
Required profile
- Strong academic record with a bachelor’s degree (regular study).
- At least four years of professional experience in external audit.
- Fully completed professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
- Experience working at a Big 4 accounting firm.
