Senior External Financial Auditor

About the role

Al Sharid Auditors and Advisors is seeking a Senior External Financial Auditor to join its Abu Dhabi office. This full‑time position will lead external audit engagements, ensure financial statements comply with applicable standards, and support continuous improvement of client financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise external audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Review and analyse financial statements for accuracy, completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend practical improvements.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Stay up‑to‑date with changes in auditing standards and local regulations.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Proven experience in auditing, accounting or financial management.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.

Required skills

• Knowledge of international and UAE auditing standards.
• Familiarity with financial reporting regulations.
