Senior Facilities Technician – Wynn Oasis

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Senior Facilities Technician to join the Wynn Oasis engineering team. The role involves maintaining staff housing and associated facilities across civil, electrical, mechanical and structural systems in a new luxury resort slated to open in 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of staff housing buildings and identify maintenance needs.
• Perform hands‑on repairs on plumbing, electrical components, HVAC support systems, doors, windows, tiles, ceilings and other architectural elements.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, complaints and emergency breakdowns.
• Coordinate with specialised technicians, contractors and vendors for outsourced services such as façade cleaning, waterproofing, rigging certification and pest control.
• Support HVAC and electrical technicians during preventive‑maintenance activities, including filter changes, coil cleaning and fixture replacements.
• Assist in renovation and refurbishment projects, including painting, carpentry and minor civil works.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and manage inventory of tools, consumables and spare parts.
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings, riser diagrams and layout plans while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and UAE building codes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with vocational training in a relevant trade.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within a hospitality or large‑scale residential environment.
• Ability to work flexibly across different zones and respond to urgent operational priorities.
• Strong commitment to safety, cleanliness and quality standards.
