Senior Field Engineer – Offshore Construction

About the role

The Senior Field Engineer will lead mobilisation, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure seamless execution of offshore construction activities. This role bridges client, subcontractor, and internal engineering functions to deliver projects on schedule and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and execute mobilisation plans, ensuring all allocated activities start within agreed timeframes.
• Compile, issue, and manage work packages, project documentation, and daily progress reports.
• Control material flow, expediting, and availability of construction aids, equipment, and consumables.
• Allocate daily tasks to foremen, monitor progress, and enforce technical specifications.
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain clear communication.
• Coordinate with the Engineering Department to provide as‑built mark‑ups and support project close‑out activities.
• Train and supervise junior engineers, assisting senior engineers, project managers, and section heads as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and the Code of Conduct.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore construction.
• Strong English communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Proven ability to work both onshore and offshore and to manage personnel and equipment.
• Team‑player mindset with a commitment to safety and quality.
