Senior Field Engineer – Offshore Construction

About the role

NMDC Group is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to lead offshore construction activities. You will coordinate mobilisation, manage documentation, and ensure seamless execution of specialised tasks on site.

Key responsibilities

• Review and execute mobilisation plans, ensuring timely implementation of allocated activities.
• Compile, issue, and control project documentation, work packages, and material expediting.
• Coordinate daily activities with foremen, monitor progress, and allocate resources.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to resolve issues and maintain compliance with HSE standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports, field engineer reports, and ‘as‑built’ mark‑ups for engineering review.
• Participate in site certification, lessons‑learned documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore construction.
• Strong English communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Willingness to work both onshore and offshore.
• Proven ability to train and supervise junior engineers.
