Senior Finance Process Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Process Specialist to lead the analysis, optimisation and automation of finance processes across Accounting, AP, AR, Treasury, FP&A and related functions. The role combines deep finance knowledge with process‑management expertise to drive efficiency, control and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end reviews of finance processes, identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and control weaknesses, and design future‑state workflows.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, swim‑lane diagrams, KPIs, SLAs and control matrices.
• Drive finance‑process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and re‑engineering methodologies.
• Collaborate with Finance Technology and IT on ERP, finance‑system enhancements, UAT and automation projects.
• Implement robotic process automation, AI‑enabled solutions and workflow tools to reduce manual effort.
• Support audit remediation, risk assessments and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance process analysis, improvement or transformation.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in root‑cause analysis and performance measurement.
• Familiarity with finance operations such as month‑end close, reconciliations, budgeting and reporting.
