Senior Full Stack Engineer

About the role

NorthBay Solutions is looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, cloud‑native applications. The role requires hands‑on expertise across both frontend (React.js) and backend (Python/Node.js) while leveraging AWS services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack applications using React.js and Python/Node.js.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs, integrating them with AWS infrastructure such as Lambda, Amplify, API Gateway and RDS/MySQL.
• Create reusable, responsive React components and follow best practices for frontend architecture.
• Implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and add real‑time functionality with WebSockets where needed.
• Participate in code reviews, testing strategies and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise performance across the full stack.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional experience in full‑stack software development.
• Strong backend expertise with Python and/or Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience building responsive user interfaces with React.js.
• Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture, state management and responsive design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL and real‑time communication via WebSockets.
