Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Research Infrastructure

About the role

The Senior Full-Stack Engineer will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of research infrastructure digital platforms, enabling transparent management of compute credits, resource usage, and financial reporting for faculty, students, and administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop the frontend of research infrastructure platforms using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, delivering responsive experiences across devices.
• Build and maintain PI self‑service workflows for credit balances, project creation, member management, and transaction history.
• Design interactive dashboards for compute credit utilization, spending trends, job status, and resource availability, integrating Grafana and Prometheus where appropriate.
• Integrate the portal with ERP, PostgreSQL, Slurm, storage, cloud, and financial services via REST or gRPC APIs, applying role‑based access control.
• Lead technical design reviews, mentor engineers, and deliver incrementally using Agile practices, including automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise web platforms with strong frontend ownership.
• Proven ability to translate complex operational or financial data into intuitive dashboards and workflows for non‑technical users.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and working with Python or Go backend services.
• Professional proficiency in English and strong communication with academic and business stakeholders.
