Senior Highway Design Engineer

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior Highway Design Engineer to lead the creation of engineering deliverables for large infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role involves independent project planning, technical direction, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, and design packages that meet client quality standards.
• Lead complex highway engineering tasks, including major grade‑separated crossings and advanced road scheme options.
• Extract and verify engineering data from CAD models using Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads.
• Review supplier submittals, conduct technical bid analyses, and sign‑seal professional engineering documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of highway design experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, and team‑leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bentley MicroStation.
• Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley OpenRoads for 3D modeling.
• Ability to produce engineering computations, quantity take‑offs, and design specifications.
