Senior Hostess – Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Hostess to join our Guest Services team at Grosvenor House, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Dubai. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check‑ins, payments and providing personalised service throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method and issue room keys.
• Enter and manage Marriott Rewards information and ensure correct rate application.
• Handle all payment types, vouchers, paid‑outs and balance cash receipts at shift start and end.
• Compile daily cashier and closing reports, maintain accurate guest accounts and document exceptions.
• Provide guests with directions, property information and fulfill special requests by coordinating with relevant departments.
• Notify Loss Prevention of any theft reports and follow security procedures.
• Support management in training, coaching and evaluating team members.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold confidentiality and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in front‑desk or guest‑services roles.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
• No specific formal qualifications required; on‑the‑job training provided.
