Senior Hostess

About the role

The Senior Hostess is responsible for managing guest check‑ins, handling payments, and ensuring a seamless front‑desk experience at a Luxury Collection property in Dubai. This role also supports team development and upholds the highest standards of service and security.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, assign rooms, activate keys and handle all payment types.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards data and ensure rates match market codes.
• Compile daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and manage bank drops at shift start and end.
• Assist guests with directions, property information and special requests, coordinating with other staff as needed.
• Support management in training, evaluating, counseling and coaching front‑desk team members.
• Follow accounting procedures, obtain manual authorizations and report any security or theft incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related front‑desk or hospitality experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
• Strong computer literacy for data entry and report generation.
