Senior Hostess

About the role

The Senior Hostess is responsible for delivering a seamless and personalized check‑in experience for guests at a Luxury Collection property in Dubai. This role ensures accurate guest accounting, secure payment processing, and high‑quality service throughout the stay.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Enter Marriott Rewards data, ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions.
• Handle all payment types, vouchers, paid‑outs, and charges; balance and drop receipts.
• Compile daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and maintain accurate guest accounts.
• Assist guests with directions, property information and special requests, coordinating with other staff as needed.
• Obtain manual authorizations, follow accounting procedures and notify loss prevention of any theft reports.
• Support management in training, evaluating and coaching team members.
• Maintain compliance with safety, appearance, confidentiality and company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related hospitality experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Guest check‑in and identity verification.
• Cash handling and closing report preparation.
• Knowledge of accounting procedures and manual authorizations.
