Senior HSE Officer / Manager

About the role

Emtelle Fibre Optics Manufacturing ME Ltd is looking for an experienced HSE professional to lead and maintain its Health, Safety & Environment management systems across its operations. The role covers compliance with regulatory requirements, implementation of HSE policies and procedures, risk assessment, audits, incident investigation and promotion of a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSE management systems
• Conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OSHAD requirements
• Deliver HSE inductions and training programmes
• Monitor HSE performance and prepare management reports
• Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and safety initiatives
• Liaise with government authorities, auditors and regulatory bodies
• Support continuous improvement of workplace health, safety and environmental standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
• 7-10 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Excellent communication, reporting and leadership skills

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, OSHAD, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Risk assessment, audit and incident investigation
