Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading cybersecurity services provider in the Middle East, is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and evolve its Managed Security Services (MSS) infrastructure. The role covers Windows and Linux servers, networking equipment, cloud platforms and a range of security technologies supporting enterprise and government customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor health and availability of all infrastructure components and produce regular status reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows, Linux and mixed‑environment applications.
• Plan, test and deploy security patches and critical updates on a scheduled basis.
• Manage virtualization (VMware) and backup solutions, ensuring data protection and recovery.
• Design, build and maintain public‑cloud environments in Azure and OCI, including automated provisioning for new customers.
• Configure and administer firewalls, Web Application Firewalls and other network security devices.
• Document architecture, configurations and procedures, and keep diagrams up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience with IT infrastructure, servers and networking.
• Relevant certifications in infrastructure or cloud technologies.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
