Senior Internal Audit

About the role

The Senior Internal Audit professional will lead high‑complexity assurance and advisory assignments, providing risk insights that shape Dubai Health's annual assurance plan and strategic priorities. This role works closely with senior leadership to assess enterprise‑wide risks and develop audit strategies that align with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct enterprise‑wide risk assessments and design risk‑based audit strategies.
• Oversee audit fieldwork, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Develop and continuously improve internal audit policies, procedures, and methodologies, incorporating AI‑driven analytics.
• Analyze audit findings and KPIs to identify systemic risks and recommend governance enhancements.
• Deliver training on compliance standards, healthcare audit best practices, and risk management.
• Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and senior leadership to address findings and influence policy.
• Evaluate controls through data collection, validation, and analysis to uncover process improvement opportunities.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of internal audit experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proven ability to lead complex audit engagements and mentor junior staff.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in risk‑based auditing.
