Senior IT Analyst

About the role

The Senior IT Analyst will ensure the smooth operation of applications and computer systems, overseeing installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting across the organization. This role also leads a small team of IT analysts and supports the enforcement of IT policies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate installation, configuration and maintenance of the organisation’s applications and workstations.
• Diagnose program errors, recommend and implement solutions, and rewrite programs to improve efficiency.
• Prepare detailed workflow charts illustrating program sequences, inputs, outputs and logical operations.
• Manage administration, maintenance and upgrades of applications, and recommend new tools to senior management.
• Conduct physical inventory of IT equipment and software, ensuring assets are serviceable and safeguarded.
• Provide training and instructions to staff, supervise and mentor IT analysts.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of company information and ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5‑6 years of experience in an IT Applications role.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Valid UAE driver’s licence (or ability to obtain).
