Senior Legal Counsel (6-Month Contract)

About the role

This 6‑month fixed‑term position offers a senior lawyer the chance to work directly with senior leadership of a fast‑growing investment and technology organisation operating across multiple jurisdictions. You will handle high‑value commercial and strategic matters in sectors such as technology, AI, digital assets, and financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including technology, services, licensing, partnership and vendor contracts.
• Support corporate structuring, governance and entity‑management matters across the UAE and offshore jurisdictions.
• Assist on M&A, strategic investments and joint‑venture transactions, including due diligence and transaction documentation.
• Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to technology, AI, digital platforms and emerging business models.
• Coordinate with external counsel and contribute to broader legal and compliance initiatives across the group.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer from a recognised common‑law jurisdiction.
• Approximately 8+ years post‑qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in‑house legal team.
• Strong background in corporate, commercial and transactional matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience advising on cross‑border matters in fast‑paced environments; UAE exposure and knowledge of technology, fintech, AI or digital assets is a plus.
