Senior Logistics Officer

About the role

Group AMANA is seeking a Senior Logistics Officer to lead store‑keeping operations across its construction sites and central facilities. The role ensures materials, consumables, tools and equipment are efficiently managed, stocked, documented and utilized to support fast‑track projects while minimizing waste.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and directly manage all storekeepers across projects and central stores.
• Lead recruitment, assessment and selection of storekeeping staff.
• Design and deliver training programs covering inventory control, ERP usage, safety and material handling.
• Develop and enforce policies for receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing materials.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain stock accuracy and align physical inventory with ERP records.
• Manage preservation requirements for cement, chemicals, tools, electrical/MEP material, steel, etc.
• Drive continuous improvement of store‑keeping procedures to reduce waste and delays.
• Provide real‑time stock visibility to delivery teams, plant management and procurement.
• Generate monthly reports on stock condition, consumption trends, aging materials and KPIs.
• Optimize inter‑site material transfers to lower costs and improve utilization.
• Collaborate with Plant & Logistics teams to ensure operational supplies are available.
• Travel regularly across UAE, KSA, Qatar and other regions to monitor operations and mentor teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain, logistics, engineering).
• Proven experience leading store‑keeping or logistics teams in a construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, material preservation and audit processes.
• Ability to develop policies, training programs and drive continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel frequently across multiple countries.
