Senior Manager / AVP FCC Systems & Analytics

About the role

The Senior Manager / AVP will own end‑to‑end governance, optimisation and performance of the Bank’s Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) technology estate, including Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening and Customer Risk Rating systems. The role ensures regulatory compliance, data quality and effective model management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the FCC systems governance framework, including documentation, configuration baselines and access controls.
• Manage the full lifecycle of TM scenarios, threshold tuning, and screening configurations, ensuring alignment with CBUAE AML/CFT regulations.
• Oversee data‑quality frameworks, perform data reconciliation, and resolve feed issues across FCC platforms.
• Lead user acceptance testing, change‑management processes and act as the primary liaison with IT, vendors and project teams.
• Support regulatory examinations, internal audits and independent model validations, providing documentation and remediation plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, IT, finance or related discipline; certifications such as CAMS or CGSS preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in financial crime compliance, with at least 5 years in hands‑on FCC systems, analytics or model management within banking.
• Strong knowledge of CBUAE AML/CFT requirements, FATF recommendations and UAE sanctions obligations.
• Proven ability to produce audit‑ready documentation and manage complex stakeholder relationships.

Required skills

• Transaction Monitoring (TM) platforms – SymphonyAI NetReveal, Actimize, Oracle FCCM, Mantas.
• Sanctions screening tools – Fircosoft, Actimize, SAS AML.
• Customer Risk Rating (CRR) systems and model administration.
• SQL, data profiling, ETL and data‑feed troubleshooting.
• Python or similar analytical tooling (advantageous).
