Senior Manager – Business Development

About the role

Edge Commercial is seeking a Senior Manager – Business Development to lead growth initiatives across regional and international markets. Based in Abu Dhabi, you will shape high‑value opportunities, build strategic partnerships and strengthen relationships with senior government, defence and security stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies and plans.
• Identify, qualify and pursue new markets, customers and opportunity pipelines.
• Lead opportunity shaping, capture strategies and customer engagement activities.
• Support proposal development, negotiations and strategic partnership initiatives.
• Provide market intelligence and maintain a robust pipeline of high‑potential deals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, commercial or programme management, preferably in the defence or advanced‑technology sector.
• Proven track record of securing large‑scale contracts and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and opportunity‑capture skills.
