Senior Manager, Corporate Communications

About the role

The Senior Manager of Corporate Communications will lead the bank’s corporate communications function, safeguarding its reputation and supporting strategic objectives. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee media relations, executive messaging, publications, crisis handling and corporate events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the corporate communications strategy to enhance brand visibility and protect the Bank’s reputation.
• Manage media relations, press releases and external announcements.
• Prepare executive communications for the CEO and Chairman.
• Lead crisis communications in coordination with Compliance, Legal and Executive Management.
• Oversee the Annual Report, ESG Report and other corporate publications.
• Ensure brand consistency across all corporate communications.
• Manage PR agencies and communications suppliers.
• Oversee corporate events and sponsorship communications.
• Support strategic projects with communications advice.
• Monitor and report reputation and media performance.
• Manage the corporate communications budget.
• Train, mentor and develop the corporate communications team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, PR or related discipline (Masters preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in corporate communications/public relations, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Executive communications and agency management experience.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.
