Senior Manager, Corporate Communications (UAE)

About the role

Visa is seeking a senior‑level communications professional to lead its external and internal communications in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications – GCC, the role will shape Visa’s narrative across the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait, aligning messaging with regional business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute UAE communications strategies that support regional business goals and enhance Visa’s corporate reputation.
• Lead media relations with Tier‑1 outlets, manage proactive and reactive engagements, and support crisis communications.
• Create and manage a multi‑channel content pipeline, including speeches, presentations, articles, video and social assets.
• Partner with business units to design and deliver project‑based campaigns and internal communications programs such as town‑halls.
• Oversee agency relationships, brief development, and budget management for communications initiatives.
• Monitor media coverage, track KPIs, and link communications outcomes to measurable business impact.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or media communications.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong storytelling and writing abilities.
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and influence without formal authority.
• Deep understanding of the regional media landscape and the payments/fintech ecosystem.
• Data‑driven mindset, comfortable using insights to improve content effectiveness.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Experience with digital content creation and AI‑enhanced communication tools.
• Ability to produce visual/graphic assets and simplify data into insights.
