Senior Manager Information Security Operations & Support

About the role

The Senior Manager, Information Security Operations & Support is responsible for overseeing security monitoring, access reviews and authorisations across DET systems and databases. The role also governs disaster‑recovery testing, manages third‑party security interactions and reports security incidents to the regulator and DET management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject‑matter expertise to ensure compliance of security tools and processes.
• Conduct access reviews, authorisations and monitor security incidents.
• Govern disaster‑recovery testing and report findings to regulators and senior management.
• Manage third‑party applications, systems and software to align with DET security policies.
• Liaise with the Technology Department to implement vulnerability management on on‑premise and cloud environments.
• Coordinate testing of third‑party‑developed applications throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain records of all authorised and third‑party access to DET data.
• Oversee security monitoring processes and review reports from SOC service providers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in information security operations and incident management.
• Strong understanding of security policies, disaster‑recovery procedures and third‑party risk management.
• Ability to liaise with technology teams, business owners and external vendors.
• Experience maintaining compliance documentation and reporting to regulators.
