Senior Manager Internal Communications

About the role

The Senior Manager – Internal Communications will lead the development and delivery of internal communications across Innovo Group, ensuring employees understand the company’s strategy, performance and culture. Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer, the role partners with senior leaders, HR and business teams to translate priorities into clear, engaging messages for both office‑based and field staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the group’s internal communications strategy and annual plan, managing the editorial calendar and communication cadence across all functions and locations.
• Partner with HR and People teams to create communications for organisational changes, employee programmes, policies and culture initiatives, ensuring accurate and timely messaging.
• Design and manage internal channels such as SharePoint, email newsletters, Teams and other platforms, maintaining content architecture and improving user adoption.
• Produce a range of employee‑focused content – articles, announcements, FAQs, toolkits and visual assets using Canva and PowerPoint – while maintaining consistent tone and visual identity.
• Support leadership communications, employee engagement events, change initiatives and, when required, external communications projects alongside the Chief Communications Officer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 10 years of communications experience, with a strong focus on internal or employee communications in a complex, geographically dispersed organisation.
• Proven ability to advise senior leaders and HR, develop communication plans for change, and manage internal channels and editorial calendars.
