Senior Manager – Operational & Financial Audit

About the role

The Operational/Financial Audit Manager leads audit planning, execution and reporting to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with Al Futtaim’s policies. The role oversees a team of auditors, drives continuous improvement and supports governance across financial, operational and IT processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct and monitor audit activities, applying the organisation’s methodology and ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Supervise audit engagements, present findings, recommend improvements and follow‑up on action implementation.
• Manage audit resources, provide feedback, develop staff and foster a culture of excellence.
• Support implementation of IIA Global Internal Audit Standards, risk‑based planning and quality assurance programmes.
• Design and execute data‑analytics tests using tools such as Advanced Excel, Power BI and AI techniques to enhance audit coverage.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of operational and financial audit experience, including 2‑3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in internal audit within the automotive sector and familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in audit methodologies and risk management.
• Advanced data‑analysis skills and use of AI tools.
• Hands‑on experience with Advanced Excel, Power BI and SAP S/4 HANA.
