Senior Manager – Quality Control

About the role

The Senior Manager – Quality Control will lead the QC division at Julphar’s headquarters in Ras Al Khaimah, ensuring compliance with cGMP, GLP and safety standards while delivering reliable analytical results for finished products, raw materials and stability samples.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to cGMP principles and maintain effective implementation across the laboratory.
• Perform chemical and physical analyses of finished products, raw materials and stability samples.
• Execute process validation activities and operate a range of QC equipment.
• Enter and lock analytical data in SAP, maintaining complete audit trails.
• Develop, approve and review HPLC and GC analytical methods in line with approved pharmacopeias.
• Train and qualify new QC staff and analysts on procedures, specifications and testing methods.
• Investigate laboratory incidents, OOS/OOT results and deviations, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Support internal and external audits, close observations promptly, and manage QMS actions (Deviations, CAPAs, AMS, Change Controls) using the Amplelogic system.
• Ensure data integrity and good documentation practices throughout the QC labs.

Required profile

• Strong sense of accountability and ownership with a senior‑level mindset.
• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical quality control environments.
• Proven ability to lead a team, train staff and collaborate with supervisors.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and audit processes.

Required skills

• HPLC and GC analytical techniques.
• Proficiency in SAP for data entry and management.
• Use of Amplelogic system for QMS actions.
• Method validation, method transfer and process validation.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GLP and GMP standards.
• Laboratory safety and hygiene practices.
