About the role
The Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance will ensure the Bank stays fully aligned with regulations, standards, and guidance issued by the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE). You will interpret regulatory requirements, communicate them clearly to business units, and support the overall compliance function.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of CBUAE regulations, circulars, federal laws and related directives.
- Provide regulatory guidance and clarifications to business units and support functions.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on newly issued regulations and standards.
- Assess financial services activities for regulatory applicability.
- Execute and track regulatory gap assessments, documenting differences between existing and new regulations.
- Prepare summaries, comparative analyses, and basic reports for internal stakeholders.
- Disseminate regulatory notices, circulars, and guidance to relevant parties.
- Monitor regulatory obligations, escalating issues when necessary.
- Support the preparation and submission of regular and ad‑hoc regulatory reports.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather inputs for regulatory submissions.
- Review regulatory correspondence for accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Deliver regulatory training and awareness sessions.
- Assist with Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of CBUAE regulations, standards, and relevant UAE federal laws.
- Experience in providing regulatory guidance and conducting gap assessments.
- Ability to prepare clear regulatory summaries, reports, and presentations.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with business units and senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in coordinating regulatory submissions and tracking obligations.
