Senior Manager - Transaction Advisory

About the role

The Senior Manager – Transaction Advisory will join WSP’s Investment and Transaction Advisory practice in Sharjah. The role leads the delivery of high‑quality advisory services to top‑tier public and private sector clients across a wide range of infrastructure sectors, including social infrastructure, transport, waste‑to‑energy, water and wastewater.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to practice strategy, service line development and go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Engage with government bodies, regulators and private‑sector stakeholders to shape pre‑procurement opportunities and build a pipeline of qualifying projects.
• Provide end‑to‑end advisory support: strategy development, business case preparation, commercial structuring and post‑close assistance.
• Coordinate pre‑feasibility and feasibility studies, value‑for‑money analysis, public‑private comparators, risk assessment matrices, procurement models and evaluation criteria.
• Oversee technical due diligence and integrate commercial due diligence for investment committee reviews.
• Translate technical and engineering depth into board‑ and ministry‑ready strategic narratives.
• Represent WSP in negotiations with key stakeholders and lead multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Manage project economics, including collections, work‑in‑progress, revenue forecasting, invoicing and financial oversight.
• Supervise junior team members, providing clear direction and performance feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in investment and transaction advisory for large infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Strong understanding of public‑private partnership (PPP) and joint‑venture commercial structures.
• Experience in financial oversight, project economics and revenue forecasting.
