Senior Manager – VAT & E‑Invoicing (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead VAT advisory and e‑Invoicing projects for clients across the UAE and GCC. Reporting to the Head of Practice, you will manage complex engagements, guide junior staff, and develop strong relationships with finance leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead UAE VAT advisory and compliance engagements, including health checks, audits, disclosures and refund claims.
• Conduct e‑Invoicing readiness assessments, implementation support and process transformation projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with CFOs, finance leaders and tax heads.
• Review technical opinions, client deliverables and advisory reports.
• Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, profitability and delivery quality.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Support business development, proposal preparation and client presentations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise clients on VAT and e‑Invoicing developments.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or equivalent).
• 8–12+ years of UAE VAT advisory and indirect tax experience.
• Current or recent experience in a Big 4, Tier‑2 audit or consulting firm preferred.
• Proven experience managing teams and client engagements across multiple industries.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
