About the role
Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead engineering, construction and fabrication activities for major oil & gas and petrochemical projects in the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical engineering tasks and ensure compliance with API and ASME standards.
- Manage construction and fabrication phases of EPC projects.
- Coordinate offshore construction activities, including commissioning, operation and start‑up.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 12 years of overall experience, with at least 6 years on major oil & gas/petrochemical projects.
- Proven expertise in EPC project lifecycles and offshore construction.
- Experience in commissioning, operation and start‑up phases.
- Previous involvement in ARAMCO projects is an advantage.
