Senior Mechanical Engineer - Static (Greenfield)

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead static equipment design for a high‑profile greenfield project. You will act as the PMC Lead, ensuring that all static assets are engineered to meet functional, safety and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for the design, development and implementation of mechanical static equipment.
• Guarantee compliance with project specifications, industry codes and standards.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design teams and coordinate with client stakeholders.
• Validate design calculations, drawings and documentation.
• Support project execution, commissioning and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a PMC Lead or senior static equipment engineer.
• Extensive experience in oil & gas or related energy projects.
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously and guide junior engineers.
