Senior Network & Security Engineer – Senior Network Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network & Security Engineer / Senior Network Consultant to provide onsite network and security consultancy and technical support within a large enterprise environment in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing, maintaining and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure across L1, L2 and L3 while operating within an ITIL framework, with occasional after‑hours and weekend support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring availability, reliability and performance.
• Provide L1, L2 and L3 network troubleshooting and technical support, diagnosing complex connectivity and performance issues.
• Monitor network health proactively, using tools such as ManageEngine, and identify potential problems before they impact services.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to resolve incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document solutions.
• Deliver technical consultancy and recommendations for network and security improvements, adhering to ITIL service management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of hands‑on experience managing large enterprise network environments.
• Mandatory CCNP certification; CCIE, Fortinet NSE, F5 BIG‑IP Administrator and CISSP are preferred.
• Proven ability to work onsite in the UAE for a 1‑year consultancy and to provide support outside normal working hours.

Required skills

• CCNP (mandatory) and preferably CCIE.
• Fortinet NSE certification.
• F5 BIG‑IP Administrator certification.
• CISSP security certification.
• Experience with ManageEngine or similar network monitoring tools.
• Penetration testing knowledge.
