Senior NOC Engineer – Dubai Municipality Projects

About the role

The Senior NOC Engineer will act as the primary liaison between the Dubai Municipality project team, supervision teams, the contractor’s NOC representative, and local authorities. This role ensures design deliverables meet regulatory requirements and that approvals are obtained promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate communication among the DM project team, supervision teams, contractor NOC representative, and Dubai local authorities.
• Review design deliverables with authorities and secure necessary approvals and permits.
• Serve as the conduit for authorities’ comments and requests for design changes, ensuring timely incorporation.
• Monitor updates to local engineering, construction regulations and codes, and disseminate changes to relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or planning within a top‑tier regional or multinational consultancy.
• Proven experience coordinating with authorities on large‑scale projects.
• Experience within Dubai is preferred.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of engineering standards and codes.
• Sound knowledge of local authorities’ regulations, codes and guidelines.
• Solid understanding of engineering design.
• Strong communication, organization and planning abilities.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic.
