Senior Officer, Contracts

About the role

The Senior Officer, Contracts is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end tendering and contract administration process, ensuring accurate documentation and timely execution in line with company standards and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all tendering activities from Expression of Interest to agreement distribution for works and services.
• Maintain tender schedules, coordinate with Contracts Engineers and end‑users, and resolve queries to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Prepare and update tender documents, manage third‑party site visits, and assist bidders with online submission issues.
• Organise technical and commercial bid opening sessions, conduct price comparisons, and oversee agreement signing and distribution.
• Follow up with Finance, Insurance, and Contractors on bank guarantees and insurance documents.
• Liaise with users and bidders to upload documents into the appropriate systems and report IT issues.
• Generate and analyse computer‑based reports on tender status and pending activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration.
• At least 8 years of experience in tendering and contract management within a large industrial organization, preferably oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of tendering processes, technical and commercial bids, and UAE laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to manage contractual and commercial activities.
