Senior Officer, Contracts

About the role

Provide expert advice and guidance on contractual matters, negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers and contractors, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate tender documents, bids, proposals, and quotations for technical and commercial compliance.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring terms align with procurement objectives and standards.
• Monitor and manage performance of contracted parties, ensuring deliverables meet specifications and schedules.
• Identify and resolve contractual issues, disputes, or claims, escalating when necessary.
• Develop and update contract templates, forms, and procedures in line with best practices.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and establish long‑term relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in contract management.
• Strong knowledge of contract principles, applicable laws and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
