Senior Officer – Procurement Engineering & Facilities

About the role

The Senior Officer – Procurement Engineering & Facilities is responsible for managing end‑to‑end procurement activities for flydubai’s engineering and facilities needs. The role ensures cost‑effective acquisitions while complying with company policies, procedures and budgetary guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review procurement requirements with internal departments and prepare RFPs, RFQs, and tender documents.
• Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and awarding contracts.
• Process purchase requisitions, bid documents and purchase orders in line with internal controls.
• Evaluate supplier performance using metrics such as delivery reliability, quality and pricing consistency.
• Oversee contract lifecycle activities, including amendments, renewals and extensions.
• Conduct financial assessments of vendor proposals and present commercial analyses to approvers.
• Coordinate technical evaluations with business units and subject‑matter experts.
• Maintain vendor documentation, ensure compliance with flydubai’s vendor management policies and support the approved vendor list.
• Produce dashboards and reports on procurement performance, KPI tracking and departmental insights.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and provide first‑level support for procurement systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑to‑end procurement, preferably within engineering or facilities environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct financial and technical evaluations.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management capabilities.
• Familiarity with procurement policies, contract management and compliance standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and present findings to senior stakeholders.
