Senior Offshore Material Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Offshore Material Coordinator will lead end‑to‑end material management for offshore projects, ensuring that all materials, tools and equipment are identified, procured, tracked, stored, certified and delivered safely and on schedule. This role works closely with engineering, procurement and construction teams to guarantee compliance and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute material management from identification to offshore delivery and project close‑out.
• Develop and apply project‑specific material management procedures and improve existing processes.
• Oversee procurement, tracking, storage, issuance, and certification of materials, tools and equipment.
• Maintain inventory records, calibration logs and photographic documentation.
• Validate procurement lists with engineering and construction teams.
• Implement Bag & Tag processes, preserve tools and reconcile surplus items.
• Monitor stock levels, identify shortages and trigger procurement actions.
• Generate material issuance notes, offshore material status reports and final inventory documentation.
• Coordinate logistics, customs documentation and sea‑transport load‑outs.
• Lead the material and logistics team, ensuring safety and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma in a related discipline or equivalent.
• Certification in logistics or supply‑chain management.
