Senior Operations & Technical Training Officer

About the role

The Senior Operations & Technical Training Officer is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and delivering training programmes across plant areas. The role ensures training needs are identified, schedules are met and that all training aligns with ISO, IATF and plant operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with Training Officers to conduct Training Needs Analyses (TNA) and ensure training plans are fulfilled.
• Design, update and deliver training modules, incorporating the latest process, equipment and technological changes.
• Develop training specifications, task analyses, assessments and questionnaires.
• Organise orientation and specialised training for employees and customers as required.
• Collaborate with Plant Superintendents and Managers to match training with competence and promotion criteria.
• Monitor and evaluate theoretical and practical training sessions, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards.
• Assess the effectiveness of training interventions against KHDA/NQA requirements.
• Train and develop internal training officers to meet ISO and technological innovation standards.
• Deliver Math and Science lectures for new national employees and advise supervisors on related curricula.
• Provide input for OEM course development, oversee low‑ and high‑voltage switching training, and support plant expansion training.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in industrial or commercial training delivery.
• Strong knowledge of ISO and IATF standards and their application in training programmes.
• Ability to supervise and develop training officers.
• Excellent coordination skills with plant management and external OEM partners.
• Experience presenting Math and Science content to diverse audiences.
